Each week, we have been given a description of a creature and using the clues from the text, we have had to guess which creature it is.
Then, we have tried to work out answers to questions which also use inference skills. These have included thinking about how the creature is feeling and why they have acted in a certain way.
Inference skills are very important as they help us to gain a deeper understanding of our reading.
Think about the story you are reading at the moment. How is the main character feeling? How do you know? Tell someone at home or school about your main character and the reasons for your thoughts.
