Fair trade detectives

We have been learning about Fair Trade and why it is so important. Farmers who grow food like bananas, coffee, tea and pineapples need to have a fair deal with the people they sell their crops to so that they, and their children, can have better food and education.  Mrs Peterson did a hunt around her kitchen and didn't find she was buying as much Fair Trade food as she thought she was - not even her bananas.
So  . . . could you be a Fair Trade detective and look around your kitchen and see how many things have the Fair Trade logo on them. If you go to the supermarket you could see how many Fair Trade products you can find too.
Remember  . . . without the Fair Trade logo then it is not Fair Trade.
