We had a great lesson today looking at forgiveness - the film we watched explained how not forgiving is a bit like holding on to a drawing pin in a clenched fist..... To stop the pain you let go of the pin, you won't forget the pain but it has been stopped.... Forgiveness is the same....if you forgive you let go of anger and resentment but it doesn't mean you forget. We then looked at some areas in our lives where perhaps we could have forgiven but didn't..... But it's not easy!
