French teaching . . .

We were lucky enough to have Mr Gardiner from the Upper School giving us a taster session in French. 

A visitor from Norway

Nat's mother kindly came in and shared with all if Year 4 her family's experience of living in Norway. It was really interesting looking at different clothes, hearing about Chrsistmas traditions and food. 

Maths investigating . . .

We have been investigating shape and finding out if some facts are always true, sometimes true or never true. 

Science bubble investigation

We had fun extending our investigation with bubbles by finding out which liquid soap made the best bubbles. The children made their own plan and recording sheet to reinforce their understanding of the iimportance of fair testing. 

Word Wizards

We have been learning about explaining our reasons in decision making.

We completed, shared and evaluated our drama sketches today which were entitled, 'Please can I stay up late?' It was fun!
