We had great fun creating rainforest list poems focusing on amazing vocabulary choices. We are going to display them outside the class and also take a copy with us to give to the zoo keepers at Marwell next week!

Rainforest fun!

We have begun our topic by researching some amazing facts, decorating the classroom with vines and flowers and singing a rainforest song. Well done a great start to the term.

Pick and mix vocabulary

We had fun reviewing our grammar skills as well as using words from our vocabulary tree to pick and mix some great sentences. 

Designing our own settlement

To wrap up our learning on settlements we drew maps of our own settlements using a key and all our map work skills to create some fantastic new cities and towns.
