Old friends from nursery still together in Oak class!
Freya brought in an old photograph to share during Show and Tell.
Newspaper explorers
We practiced our dictionary and summarising skills by reading our First News newspapers. We enjoyed reading aloud our favourite stories.
Celebrating Passover with a Seder meal
We completed our learning on the important Jewish celebration of Passover with our own Seder meal. We remembered the importance of the symbolism of different foods and the exodus of the Jews to the Holy Land. Can you remember to share what you ate with your family at home
Ancient Roman letters
Our excellent writing of a letter from a Roman soldier in Britain to his family in Rome were made to look old as if they had been dug from an archaeological dig.
Mosaics making progress
Our mosaics are really making progress. The great designs are now being covered carefully with tesserae. Excellent determination to make your best artwork, we are now looking forward to the finished mosaics very soon!
