Beautiful Christmas cards

Wow! Oak class worked so hard at writing their own Christmas poems for their cards and then showed off their beautiful handwriting too. Fantastic effort, Mrs Peterson and Mrs Pike are very proud of your progress. 

Christingles

We all made Christingles this afternoon. Make sure you explain to your family what each part of the christingle means  when you take it home.

Around the World . . .

We all had a great morning with different team quizzes to review our learning about the names and location of countries, continents and oceans around the world. Well done every team for confident and cooperative work! 

More great homework!

Thank you for supporting your children's work at home. In Oak class the children spoke so well about their sweet inventions and so we were then very excited to try them all out. We were amazed by the Megan's green marshmallows that could turn you into an elf, and other fantastic sweet machines and even a giant cookie! 

Amazing Wonka Creations

Once again, the children produced some amazing homework projects based on inventing a new sweet for the Wonka range.We got to taste lots of them and they were all amazing. Thanks to all the children in my class and Oak for putting so much time and effort into them - it really is appreciated!

Word Wizards

This week in Word Wizards we practised our focus words with a festive theme. We created a drama based around elves. We even included a Christmas joke!
